Sadegh Adham

Born 1978, Masjed Soleyman, Iran · B.A. in Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran

In his work, Sadegh Adham explores architectural and mythological perspectives. His paintings are often composed of simple geometric forms such as ovals, cubes, circles, and squares. This fascination with geometric shapes can also be seen throughout his sculptural practice.

Through simplifying and reducing forms to their essential elements, Adham challenges the boundary between figuration and abstraction. His works often carry a sense of history and primitivism, combining simplified forms with a distinctive visual language rooted in both architectural structure and mythological references.
